Multiverse never was and never will be infinite. Marvel's is actually 16D, so it doesn't really matter.Īnd as i said already Infinite Universes = Omniverse, not Multiverse. ![]() And there are higher dimensional multiverses. You know that DC doesn't have infinite universes, do you? Even though a few characters said it is infinite, it was revealed that DC only has 52 Universes.Īnd Multiverse by default cannot be inifnite, Multi means Many, so Multiverse = Many Universes, plain and simple.Įven Marvel's official glossary of terms says that Multiverse = Many Universes, not infinite. And some people have control over multiverse with infinite universes. Multiverse can have infinite universes too. Omniverse means ALL Universes, so it is infinite. In Marvel, Multiverse means Many Universes, not infinite. They have failed because, of course, they cannot tell whether each time they examine the Spiral they are seeing it exponentially or randomly." For millennia, scholars have tried to fathom the true nature of what they have come to refer to as 'The Spiral'. Of course, in a multiverse that expands exponentially and is unfixed and infinite in nature, a 'centre' is a theoretical and practical. ![]() It is completely unique and is, theoretically, situated at the centre of creation. It is neither linear nor multifaceted in existence. It is, being constructed of chronon energy, and thus temporal in nature, endless. And if they seem to diminish as they get towards the bottom of the vortex, rest assured, it's an illusion. A vortex made up of an infinite number of well, levels for want of a better description. A really powerful vortex that drags into itself anything that comes into its trajectory. So the difference between Beyonder and the Glory would be like a 3-dimensional human against a 3-dimensional device with reality warping powers. The Beyonder being the infinite dimensional embodiment of the Beyond Realm is impressive, but considering how the Glory has control over the entire infinite dimensional multiverse, it could do whatever it wants to the Beyond Realm which is technically Beyonder himself. It has to select someone to control it if not the Doctor Who "omniverse" will collapse. Okay, so Glory holds all infinite dimensions together. In Doctor Who it refers to all universes and higher dimensions while in Marvel they refer to all fictional continuities including the real-life world as well, which is obviously impossible given that TOAA created the "omniverse" which would mean TOAA created us as well. ![]() The "omniverse" in Doctor Who means very differently compared to Marvel's own definition. The abstracts entered 16-D space as well, but they're obviously nowhere near LT's level. There can be differences between higher dimensional beings as well, just as there can be differences between a ant and a galaxy buster in 3-dimensional space.Īn example of this was when LT was shown to be at least 16 dimensional making him 11 degrees of infinity above a multiverse.
